FOUR STARS! As the reader, I am not sure if this story should be filed in the category of Mystery, Thriller, or Horror. I am going with Horror. Though I racked my wits, I could not figure out if David was guilty and could not recall killing, if he was insane, if everything happening was coincidental, or if The Rep was real and inhuman. The one thing I do know for sure is that I am not telling you anything. Only those who read this spooky tale will find out.

In my opinion, William Wilde's writing talent is best in the horror genre. The only way this story could have been better was if the main character's background was more developed. The story reads as if it were being narrated. I never came to really care for David. Without that bond between the reader and character, the story is not as potent. However, the plot is interesting and pretty creative. I will be keeping an eye on William Wilde's future releases.
