Jeshurun by Doug Norman is a brilliantly crafted novel about a boarding school for boys with the characters younger versions of familiar New Testament figures. It is designed for young adults but I think older teens and older adults will love it also. Never did I feel that the Norman's allegory was irreverent but instead a fascinating way to make the truths of the faith available in a different way. I read it in 3 days I was so delighted with the writing, character portrayal, and that plot that is "the greatest true story" ever told!
