Vanyell's In Another Vein is a good read for anyone who likes to stay up late. Definitely, night light reading. Vanyell's poetry should be chilling, but instead it touches the senses and tends to give the reader a more heartwarming attitude toward creatures of the night.

His poetry is sensitive and scary at the same time. He looks at every aspect of the life of a vampire. Once reading In Another Vein is complete, one is left with a profound sense of sympathy for those who succumbed to the lure of everlasting life. His poetry is an oxymoron, in that it is morbidly beautiful. It's subtle erotica is not for the weak willed. It would be too easy to simply fall under its spell. Read it and a bloody good time will be had by all.
