From Burn the Bridge...
“We will need other supplies, I have a list for each of you.” Will opened his envelope and pulled out four notes, glancing at the name on each before handing them out like beer tickets. Graham received his note last. It read, See me immediately after this meeting. He noticed the envelope was not yet empty.
“Don’t fail me, or each other,” Will continued. “We will need everything on your lists by noon tomorrow. By that time I will be able to tell you more about our mission.” Will reached into the crate himself and pulled out a pair of binoculars. “This equipment was sent to us to support this mission, and our supplier was confident in our success. And we will succeed!” Will’s eyes were wild; his gestures punctuated each word. “By the end of this week, we will have changed our lives irrevocably. We will no longer be victims held hostage by our own government and their thugs. We will be the force that others will look to for their protection from the politicians we have unwittingly elected. We will be the among those who are the guardians of what is right and just in America!” His binoculars rattled menacingly with each syllable.
