Ladyclare Padua was born in the Philippines but raised in Sydney, Australia. Despite having a day job in marketing and research, she writes short stories, plays, novels, musicals and scripts on the side (to keep her sane!). Her most recent work was a musical called “A Different Corner” performed at Glen St. Theatre.

Ladyclare likes to write about anything that catches her fancy. She often writes about the complicated relationships between people and analyzes social mores.

Ladyclare currently lives with her young son, whose antics give her much inspiration and laugh lines.
