Bertrand Jost grew up in France and moved to the United States in 1991.
He has been working in banking in New York and London for the past
twenty years. Simultaneously, Bertrand Jost began writing non-fiction
books and articles. He published five of the six volumes in the French
Militaires, the story of a family through its generations
of drafted soldiers from Napoleon to the Algerian War of Independence.
The fifth installment, focusing on World War II, was translated into
English and self-published on Amazon Createspace. The author also
published many articles on the History of Alsace, France, from the
Middle Ages to World War II. Finally, the author is a Son of the
American Revolution and published an article in the Empire Patriot on
his ancestor, who fought in the French Army during the American War of
Bubble Boys, his first
novel, loosely based on his experience as an investment banker in
London during the tech bubble outburst of 2000, is the first
installment of a trilogy that will continue with Hedging your Bets
about the rise of Hedge funds in 2003-2004 and will end with the story
on the 2008 market collapse, all based on the author’s experience.
