Díaz is a professional Graphic
Designer who graduated from the
National School of Design in Havana,
Cuba. She worked as the Art Director
for the Recording and Musical Editing
Enterprise (EGREN) in Havana until
1979 when she came to the United
States. She also was in charge of the
Illustration Department for Musical
Children’s Books at the same
company. In the United States she
worked with Editorial America from
1979 to 1994 as the Art Director of
Ideas Magazine. Now retired, she
devotes her time between painting,
drawing and illustrating for family
and friends.
