Susan is a native of Southern California and has been writing since age six for her own pleasure. After twenty years in the entertainment industry, working as a showgirl, model, actress and radio DJ, she decided to return to college and do some writing. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a BA in journalism and received writing awards from “Kappa Tau Alpha” and “Phi Kappa Phi.” Her articles have appeared in publications that include the “Los Angeles Times” Calendar Section. She is currently working on a second novel, “Hornblower at Work.” Susan has moved from Long Beach, California to West Fork, Arkansas, where she lives with her husband, Gary and mother-in-law, Alice. Susan loves to write, read, play and keyboard, sing and make jewelry. By the way, the bulldog in her book, Winchester, was her real dog.
