Educated in the mid to late 1900s, Blandly has been writing poetry as long as he can remember. These days, he can hardly remember anything. An actor, artist, baseball player, filmmaker and guitarist, he is working on figuring out how to do stuff at the other end of the alphabet, as this book implies. He writes and produces films as John Blandly and Avant Security Guard to avoid detection by quality control officials. If you're in Stockbridge or Manchester Center and see a guy walking by with a camouflage patterned do-rag and bling that looks like the kind you get out of a vending machine outside of Wal-Mart, say hello, it might be him.
